Default How can I syn Oulook with my GNex2

I need to find out the best way to sync the phone to Outlook. I don't like the MyphoneExplorer and can't get Kies to recognize the device. If Blackberry can sync so easily - why can't this Samsung Galaxy S2 do it?

Wait, do you have a Galaxy Nexus or a Galaxy S 2?

With a little help from our good friend google, here is a link to another website with a thread that might be of some help for you.

I myself dont use outlook at all. I just let gmail do what it was intended for and it works very well for me.
Personal: Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE, Nexus 7 16gb tablet

Phone to outlook - you mean Email? calendar? contacts? all? some?
    • Email - fairly simple - just set it up depending on type of Email server (POP, IMAP, Exchange etc)
    • Calendar - if exchange, should happen automatically. Else, you can start using google calendar sync application on your desktop (free) and it will sync outlook calendar to google calendar, and that will sync to your phone automatically.
    • Contacts - no official google app to do that for free. But there are other applications written by software developers - search and find one. I keep contacts on my phone up to date (auto updates google contacts), and every month or so, I download from google and overwrite on outlook. If you prefer, you can keep outlook up to date, and overwrite google contacts every 'x' days.

Do you mean sync to an Exchange account, like your work email?
Or are you maybe referring to an email address, like maybe from your internet provider that you use Outlook to check?
