I was at work today talking to a guest on the phone trying to take their order, I work at Donatos Pizza, I went to pull my phone out of my pocket to check my messages the phone slipped out of my hand and fell face first to the floor. Needless to say the AMOLED screen under the glass shattered now I have no graphics. My NS4G I had before was tougher than this, whats the deal

I must've been lucky cuz one day I tripped on rough cement stairs slamming my naked GNex hard then it scraped across screen-down to prevent my fall...and it came away with only a very slight cosmetic scratch under the LED Notification light.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from, but like I tell my wife, the phones don't break themselves. I don't even have my phone in my hand while I'm carrying something. Whatever messages I get can wait a second or two longer. I really hope you have insurance. I feel very bad if you don't. I don't have insurance and I treat my phone like my son, NEVER DROP IT!

I don't know how common it is, but I've had conversations with a few different dads and it seems to be relatively common. Isht happens!
