I rooted my GNex a couple of months ago to get JB, and I've been running Are-You-Jellin ever since (stock AOSP JB). It's been great. But being new to this rooting thing (this is my first time), I'm looking forward to trying some different ROMs. I didn't want to go back to anything non-JB (butter is just too smooth), and I'm not hardcore enough to flash nightlies. But now that the CM team has released CM10-M1, I'm considering flashing it.

If you didn't see the news about the CM10-M1 releases read this: CyanogenMod 10 :: M1 | CyanogenMod The M-series of releases are still experimental builds, but they are supposed to be stable enough to be use as a daily driver. (More stable than nightlies, but not quite a beta release yet.) They are planned to be released monthly.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has taken the plunge. How is it? I'm tempted to try it out, but I'm looking for some feedback first.

I may give it a spin tonight... Got a few things to do after dinner (one happens to be finishing up an AOSP build stock of JB for the NS4G members to flash) and then I think I'll download it and give it a spin for a few days.

Have been running maddoggin's JB ROM for about a month now, its been very stable so I haven't seen the need for change.

I am curious to see if CM10 is the same or better than OE Jelly Bean.
Keep us in the loop.
Thanks.

I put it on this afternoon, liking it a lot. So far it is very stable compared to the nightlies (which most were pretty stable anyway), and has (to my knowledge) all of the features that have been added into cm10 nightlies up to this point.

The only thing I'm unsure of so far is battery life, but that requires time to tell. Guess I'm gonna find out tomorrow on my first full day of use! haha

I have been running it for almost 24 hours now, with no problems, I was running a week old nightly that was awful on battery life, ~6 hours, I haven't really tracked this one yet but it seems like the battery lasted me at least 8-10 hours yesterday, so that is good news. Everything is fast, no lag yet, but I haven't loaded all my apps and played with it extensively yet.

If I find any problems I will report back, back i would say its safe to run daily.

I flashed it onto my Nexus S 4g yesterday morning. So far everything it working smooth and I haven't had any crashes.

I finally rooted to CM10 about a week ago and have done a couple nightly updates (very easy!!!) and also have CM10-M1 since last night. I've been pleased with all of it, still worried about battery life but haven't properly tested it to see. Verizon Galaxy Nexus.

I've been using the M1 build on my NS4G for the last couple of days, and have seen a noticeable reduction in the amount of bugs & hiccups compared to the CM10 nightlies. Battery life is pretty solid as well. No complaints here!

I'm going to flash another rom. This has been fairly laggy for me.

I think I'm going to wait until I finish NOVA 3, so I don't have to deal with redownloading and restoring data. :)
