So I notice that my battery life has been a lot worse. I think it has to do with signal as I feel the signal strength is weaker. Here are my battery stats.

One thing I have noticed voice calls is extremely high at 23% and only 24m talk time. uploadfromtaptalk1347489181771.jpg

Anyone having this issue PR have any suggestions? By the way I have the Samsung extended battery 2100mah

Odd. I have found mine to be about the same, if not slightly better.

Can you click on the graph to see your network coverage. Also what battery and are you on WiFi all day?

I'd say remove all your downloaded apps and slowly reinstall. Most likely ya got an app misbehaving. I usually factory reset and start over between android versions. I odined to jelly bean battery life has been good

No I was not on WiFi all day. I forget WiFi on when I go to work, and we don't have WiFi there. I get good coverage and signal. 2100mah OEM Samsung battery.

I wonder why I don't have to disable anything to get good battery life...

i'm on a rooted unlocked vzw gnex...aokp jb1 leankernel, but i think i have some good advice.

watchdog helps monitor for misbehaving apps, and in my experience doesnt drain much extra at all (according to gsam battery monitor, .4% of ~30% so LOW).

checking graphs can help you see if you are getting bad cell service.

google now does increase drain depending on your settings. many of its services have to constantly ping your location among other things.

some general knowledge: your phone doesnt actually charge up to 100%, and so you may see it fall fast immediately after charging to what it reports as 100%. this is to protect it's long term life. also, charge it often trying to keep the percentage between ~40 to ~95. for those who saw their level drop fast was it after charging? after an account sync? in bad service area?

I too have noticed significantly reduced battery life and increased charge time since my Samsung Galaxy Nexus was updated to JB. As a note, I just reset my phone back to stock and then rooted it. Still on the stock ROM, though.
