Sound problems with external speaker/volumes.
I had a Nexus since release week in April.
Recently, the external speaker went out. No sounds at all. Headphones still worked.
Took it to Sprint. Tried to repair. Unable to. Ordered me another.
No problems until this morning.
Headphone jack dead. Sounds from external speakers are very low.
I have only had this replacement phone for 4 days.
Anyone else having similar problems with their Galaxy Nexus?
Thanks.

Having a similar problem with my Verizon GNex.
I just got a replacement one from Best Buy because I cracked my old one.
Last night the speaker stopped working, but I could still use my headphones.
Guess I'll be taking it back for another one.. -__-Android Central Advisor August 2011 - Late September 2011

Re: Sound problems with external speaker/volumes.
SoundAbout did not work.
If I go into Settings, Sound and then Volumes, it lists "Music, video games and other media" "Ringtones and notifications" and "Alarms"
Music: Very low sound
Ringtones: No sound at all
Alarms: Perfect sound.
Very weird.
Looks like I am going back to my Sprint store on the way home today.

All I can say is the old adage:
"Never Underestimate The Power of a Battery Pull" No pun intended.
Working just fine now.
