I was easy side today in Ft. Lauderdale and noticed my phone had full bars 4G. I'm not sure if that means LTE is also working but 4g is better then 3g, regardless. So I ran a speed test and pulled 5 megabytes per second. Not quite LTE speeds but way faster than the 1 megabyte per second I was lucky to get before. I attached a photo of the speed test and you can see the 4g in the right hand corner where the signal strength is. Also, I'd like to ask ; if we have LTE does the signal strength show LTE instead of 4g? If anyone knows please tell me. I appreciate the help.

That is Lte 4g. And it appears as 4G icon. All I can say is like many I am patiently waiting for my town to see the Lte 4G rollout. Cool man.

Good to see it up in FL, hope it comes to Tampa Bay soon. Although those speeds are disappointing, I get 3.x mb down on 3g, my girlfriend with HSPA+ gets over 10.

Second time on the east side where I grew up. Check these speeds. I've got from 14 to almost 20mbps.
