How to Install franco.Kernal (Android n00b)
Ok, so I just switched to Android a couple weeks ago and I've heard some great stuff about franco.Kernel. I have no idea what to do at all, I've been searching the internet for a good 30 minutes, and I've found no clear tutorial on how to do this.
Help?!
Much Appreciated. - 12-08-2012, 11:05 AM #2
Re: How to Install franco.Kernal (Android n00b)
Are you unlocked? If not, I recommend Wugs Galaxy Nexus toolkit, so you can get unlocked, a new ROM and recovery, and a rooted phone. It's automated to there is no hassle.
The kernel only works with certain builds of Android, so depending on what you install it may or may not work. You will need a custom recovery to flash a kernel, so use the toolkit to flash TWRP (recommended)
