Wi-Fi Tether will not work. Yes i checked the forums before I posted.

So is there a real solution to make the free Wi-Fi tether work on this device? I tried all the options and no luck. I currently have Jellin Official 4.2.1 and the Franco kernel 3.0.61. Thanks for the help.

Flash JB sourcery 5.1 Wifi tethering works perfectly every time as well as the whole plethora of customizations hands down best ROM out there right now

I noticed when I was reading about JB Sourcery that they said 3rd party tethering apps (such as FoxFi/PDA net+) will not work but the built in Android tethering will work. Maybe that is the case with Jellin too??

Just to pass information along. I flashed CM 10.1 and Open Garden tether works! Has anybody else had success with this option?

Just to repeat what slinkies posted, I flashed JB Sourcery and stock tether works like a charm. Add in a toggle to the nav pull down and its easy as pie!
