Re: The "I've Got My Note 2" Thread!
Got one in white. Which is a first for me since I normally go with gray or black phones. Really liking the phone so far, but I feel like an ***** since I have never really used touchwiz before. I have been a die hard HTC fan for a long time running. LOL

From the Ego 4G to the Galaxy S3 and 2 weeks later to the Note 2. I prefer Sense, but was able to successfully switch.

Re: The "I've Got My Note 2" Thread!
Sense seems more refined... but I still like this phone.

Re: The "I've Got My Note 2" Thread!
For those of you that has had their white GN2s since launch, i have a question. Hows the condition of your white stylus? Has it gotten dirty or darker since youve used it? I know the white OG note stylus had gotten real real dirty and am hoping that they improved on it.
Thanks

Re: The "I've Got My Note 2" Thread!
I could not find the phone at any stores during Friday release weekend, I gave up and ordered it online around 4 on Saturday and got it on Monday,I was surprised I got the phone so quickly, If you can't find it I suggest you get it online.

Re: The "I've Got My Note 2" Thread!
My old epic just looks so small I don't think I could go back to a smaller phone. I have had it less than a day and this phone is great. On a side note I finally saw an ad for the sprint version with LeBron in it. It seems like sprint is starting a little late on this one.

Re: The "I've Got My Note 2" Thread!
I've now had my GN2 for one week, after being on webOS since the launch date of the Palm Pre (6/6/09 -- yes, I stood in line that day). I later moved up to a "FrankenPre2," an AT&T Pre 2 with my Pre's Sprint comm board transplanted inside. I had high hopes for webOS, and it really is/was a great operating system, but the webOS ecosystem is dying out, even if some people are still working on the open source version of the O.S.
I'm getting used to Android, and there's a lot to like about it. It's got some features that are new and cool to me, and some of the apps are amazing. There are things about webOS that I miss, but I have a feeling more of those will be coming to Android over time, I'm hoping for a free wifi tether capability down the road, and it would be nice if Android multitasking someday moved to the type of card view that webOS has.
But the GN2 is awesome! A year or two ago I thought a 4" screen might be nice, but probably nothing bigger. Now I love the 5.5" screen on the GN2! It's a bit like skis, I think, which have been getting fatter and fatter over recent years. With each increase in width, people say that they are too big, too fat, but then folks ski on 'em and love how they perform.
I don't get all the reviews that suggest using a bluetooth headset so that you don't feel embarrassed about holding the GN2 up to your head (I use a headset in the car) . Hey, the GN2 is big, it's bad, and it's just an amazing device - I have no problem letting people see me use it (and ask, "What the #*%@ is that?!!??").
All things considered, this is a vastly superior experience to what I've had, and I am ecstatically happy to have made the move to a GN2.Thanked by: - 11-12-2012, 08:19 PM
