I have had Note II for 2 weeks now and touch wiz is getting annoying. Any Launcher recommendations? Or does anyone know if there is touchwiz update coming up?

Nova Launcher.
I second the Nova recommendation.
It's very close to ICS/JB, and it has a lot of refinements as well as being very fast.

+3 for Nova
It's my first time to use a launcher, loving Nova. With Zooper, makes creating nice clean homescreens a breeze. I miss being able to hide apps in the app drawer though. Thinking of getting the paid version just for that.

I had nova on my rooted nexus s and to me I kind of like the touch wiz from Samsung. I guess I'll try nova and see.

Touchwiz is nice; it's just very buggy.Quote:

I did like touchwiz on the Note2 also, but after 5 weeks I kinda needed a visual refresh :)Quote:

go launcher for me.
You don't have to root the note to use these launchers do you?
Nm.I guess you have to root It in order to add widgets on the home pages?..
Thanks

Nope you don't have to root. Just download the app from the play store (nova, apex, golauncher etc). Then when you press the home button you'll be asked which launcher you want to use as default.Quote:

To add widgets to the custom launcher homescreen it's the same as with the default touchwiz homescreen, long press on any blank space. :)

I prefer Go Launcher...

I am surprised that I didn't see anyone making a recommendation for Apex Launcher?
I ran Apex on my GS3 and thought it was pretty good. When I moved to the N2 I carried it over to that phone and it has done anything and everything I could think of. I did try Nova and found only minor differences but not enough to switch.
Using nova launcher myself.

Apex is pretty good. Like you said it's pretty similar.Quote:

Nova Launcher and minimalistic text.

Asking about launchers is... kind of useless. Try them, see what you like.Quote:

In my opinion Nova and Apex are the best. They both have similar features and run very well. If I had to pick one it would be Nova. It seems to run a bit faster and smoother. Both are definitely worth trying our for yourself. Good luck.
What theme are using for Nova.Quote:

Hey can you tell us what theme or how to configure this look please. Have been trying to get a similar look for some time now but the lack of instructions or info doesn't help. Not saying you at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Quote:

Apex is also another one of my favorites. I like being able to assign gestures to the dock icons for 3 functions.
