    Default Red light rectangle flashes around the outside edge screen

    Sometime a thin red lined rectangle flashes around the outside edge of my screen. Trying to figure out what it is. Anyone have any ideas what it is?

    Go to Developer options under settings and unselect Strict mode enabled.

    Tried does not stop red ring help.

    If you have the stock active applications widget on, remove it and you should see the red rectangle go away.

    Screen on phone is a shakey red one.
