For the lucky ones living in a Sprint LTE area, how happy are you?
Compared to the service you had before Sprint flipped the switch in your area, how happy are you with the new service? My town is supposed to get it very soon so I am excited about that. How big is the difference in signal strength indoors compared to outdoors, and what speeds do you average?
Just curious.

Re: For the lucky ones living in a Sprint LTE area, how happy are you?
I am not all that happy yet. I live on a fringe of an official 4G roll out, Houston. But while the service is going in, I am experiencing times where the other person cannot hear me. I use a hack where I force roam on Verizon using Verizon PRL's, and other Sprint PRL's, this seems to help some. But there are issues for sure. A Sprint retention specialist explained that even as the 4G rolls out, there is tweaking to do, etc. to get things all OK, even if the signal for 4G is strong, you might experience issues in some areas.
I wish we could just switch to CDMA only, there is a toggle for that, and just use 3G, until 4G is better, but that is not working any better for me. This issue does not happen to the degree it does on my GN2 4G phone, on our other 3G phones (iPhone and Pre).

I'm very happy thus far. I live in Chicago & there is definitely better coverage of LTE than what Sprint rolled out for Wimax a few years ago. I average around 10mbs down and 2mbs up in my house and about 16 to 18mbs down throughout my neighborhood. I know it doesn't seem like alot for LTE but it's more than adequate for what I do.

I live in plano tx and the coverage isn't that great. It works in some parts and in others you get nothing. When it does work it isn't as fast the 4g wimax i use to have on my galaxy s2.

Pretty happy so far. It's still just starting off here and a bit off and on.... Then again I'm in a pretty small market.

I'm ecstatic. I average 25 down and 10 up. And that's in my house. And it's unlimited. I have used about 100 GBs this month. Awesome.

Another company.... I'm extremely happy with Sprint again it's better than service was before the iPhone device. I constantly pull 6.5 Mb's In My Basement! I've yet to drop a call except once in inside a crowded concert, I thinkitwas to many people on because I had full bars!
This phone is so fast & dependable now, I've yet to save my home Wi-Fi address... I just haven't needed yet.
I'm glad I didn't getthat nexus 4 & T-Mobile before the newyear!

Re: For the lucky ones living in a Sprint LTE area, how happy are you?
Ive been very happy. I never got a Wimax signal in my home but I get a good LTE signal. When Im out and about I get LTE most of the time and it seems to be improving. All in all I am very happy and improvements seem to be happening faster than I expected.

I'm in Chicago so obviously I'm more happy with service. I had a sgs2 with good but spotty wimax and lte is far better. And I stay in heavy lte area too

My home internet averages 30 or so. My LTE varies between 16 - 28mb dl. Very happy, just not so happy with Samsung's radios... of course I came from a moto with gsm, cdma, and wimax.

Re: For the lucky ones living in a Sprint LTE area, how happy are you?
I live in Jacksonville FL and they have been working on LTE. Since Jacksonville is so huge (land mass wise) its taking some time.
In the areas of town where I do get LTE I absolutely love it!

I love Jacksonville. I lived there from 1987 to 1990. I absolutely loved going down to the landing every weekend. You are correct, that city is spread out more than any place I've lived.

It sure is. Some places me and my friends go can take 30 minutes (one way) to get to. But I agree I do love Jacksonville :).
I wasn't here in 1987 though... I wasn't born until October that year hehe :D. I've been here since 1992.

Re: For the lucky ones living in a Sprint LTE area, how happy are you?
3-5mbps at home, 20mbps in other spots all inside Chicago city limits. Much better than the <1mbps 3G service here prior.
