Is 4.2.2 rom worth it

I have been running Whomp rom on 4.1.2 for quite while. However, the development has stopped and I am wondering if someone can tell me a good 4.2.2 rom that is stable. If there are bugs and features that do not work can you tell me that too.

If I do not like it is it as simple as restoring a Whomp backup to go back?

Yup.

Just do a nandroid backup before flashing a new ROM. If you wanna go back, just restore your backup and everything will be as it was before you flashed the new phone.

Check out synergy rom. I think they are still updating.
