My GN2 dies after I unplug it from Charger

Since Monday My phone has been acting weird. I try to turn on my phone but it seems like it's dead but when I plug the charger in it says 100% then goes down to 70% I'm only able to use my phone when the charger is plugged into it and every time the charger is unplugged from my phone it turns off like it's dead. Is my battery fried or do I have a software problem please help.

I'd say either the battery is past the end of its life or it's throwing a dendrite. In either case it has to be replaced. A new one is only $10.
