FCC approved?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks like GSII and a bunch just got uploaded on FCC today - FCC ID: A3LSPHD710
I googled and found that SPH-D710 was released in 2004 or 2005, but this definitely doesn't look like the old slide phone.
I'm not so much keen on radio band and what not, so please don't get pissed if I'm wrong............
BTW, the test report says WiMax and pre-production.Last edited by skwon09; 07-26-2011 at 11:46 PM.

Re: FCC approved?
Ew. Tegra 2. I will be pretty displeased if it doesn't have the sexy Exynos.

Re: FCC approved?
So we're getting the Hercules but it's going to be marketed as a GS2 variant?

Re: FCC approved?
How odd that the CDMA 800 band isn't listed in the main report but instead has its own report. Also, it's not actually labeled CDMA 800 but by channel number. I assume that has to do with the way iDEN devices operate in that frequency range? And no, I'm not suggesting the Within is a Nextel phone.

Anyway, good news regardless. This phone is shaping up to be a very nice device. Now we just have to see how awful TouchWiz will be on it (not a fan of that iPhone wanna-be skin). - 07-27-2011, 09:46 AM #25
Re: FCC approved?
LP or one of the other launchers should do away with TW issues if you don't like it?
I took my EVO3D back and I am living on a BB Tour until this comes out...can't happen fast enough!
