Multi-item select in EMail client?

So I am using the eMail app in my SGSIIE4GT , NOT the Gmail app!

In the list of my emails I would love to be able to select multiple emails so I can delete in batches. Anyone see a way to accomplish this? Really hope they did not look over this BASIC necessity.

Yes, they over looked it and cannot be done. You will have to use another email app.

Awesome, thanks! While its not the best way as it takes a few more clicks, it is a multi select delete. Cheers.

I know your question was about the built-in email reader, but if you consider third party email clients, K-9 Mail lets you multi-select from the header view. Rather than tapping a subject to see the message, you swipe across the subject. That message is checked as added to the selection group and a new set of icons pop up at the bottom of the screen related to multi-select operations.
