I am a newbie to Android coming from a Palm Pre but still a techie. Got the Epic 4G Touch last Monday and the phone already locked up Tuesday night. I had to do a factory reset and it still didnt fix the problem. I went back to Sprint the next day and they removed Nova 2 HD and Google Talk as well as updated some software. It works alright now for the most part. The messaging app did lock up last night but it could be due to the 6 other apps I had running at the time.
My question is if it's supposed to be able to play Divx, Xvid, H.264 and H.263., MKV, etc. why does it only play select files? I went through 8 different converters for Android and even used the Kies Video Converter and its still a hit or miss with video.
