OK, do the LED lights next to the camera work at all?

Is there an app I need. The Blue and Red ones work. The Red one seems to slowly flash when I have an email waiting to be read. But that's about it. What about the 2 lights on the left of the phone. Near the cam. Do they work?

Yes, they're flash for the camera.

I assume your talking about the front camera, if so they're not leds but are a proximity and a light sensor!

Oh, so those aren't the notification lights?

If you use the auto brightness setting, you'll notice a difference in you screen by placing a thumb or finger over those sensors!

in the booklet it just say LED for them. It should say sensor or something. I thought they were lights that don't work

Yeah the user guide has a few errors. Labeling the light and proximity sensors as a LED is one of them.
