Is this ok download speed for 3G?

Both are low. Good 3G speeds are 1000 or greater for down and 500 for up.

My bad. I was talking in kbp/s. Those numbers are great. Pretty much ideal 3G.

Yes those are very good speeds for Sprint's current 3G service.

Are you using the stock internet? What settings do you have? I tried to get into this forum from my Epic 4GT and it is difficult to see/manage. There is the ads on the sides, etc. I tried both Opera Mobile and Stock. Thanks

I find it funny that in the same location last night...

my 3G was reading around 100Kbps/26Kbps (no bar or just roaming)

but when I turn on my 4G in the SAME LOCATION i get 4Mbps/800kbps.

I use Dolphin HD. And I dont have a PC. This phone is my only internet acess. Does a hell of a job. EDIT: I should mention I have racked up 7.5+ GB data usage since I got this phone the day after release. So in 11 days thats how much I have consumed with this awesome phone.

Wow. I don't think I've ever hit 2000 kbps with 3G. Is that 7.5+ GB with 4G too?

Since Speedtest and the other apps show kbps, we ususally use that. 2000kbps is the best Sprint 3G I have seen.
