Launcher replacement - keep stock icons?
I'm trying out various launcher replacements but I can't seem to keep the stock dock icons (email, contacts, phone, etc).
Am I missing something? Do I *have* to use the redesigned icons? I've tried selecting the icon when selecting change icon, I'm a little surprised to see that "stock" isn't an option. - 10-03-2011, 11:24 AM #2
Re: Launcher replacement - keep stock icons?
In GoLauncher, you can change the icons to the default by simply using the Apps themselves rather than GoLauncher's "themed" shortcut icons. You'd do this by making a shortcut on your homescreen to your dialer for example (the App is called "Phone") then dragging that down onto your dock. I don't know of a way to do this with the Application tray icon though. Maybe someone else does.
I'd imagine there's a way to create a "theme" out of the default TouchWiz icons, but that's beyond my pay grade. - 10-03-2011, 04:39 PM
