Yahoo Mail going crazy!

I just got a message from consumer reports, the another, then another...39 more! It kept giving me the notification, i went to my regular computer to log in and i got it only 1 actual message. I deleted it, but it kept notifying me on my epic. I had to do a restart to keep it from happening. even as it was powering down, it kept vibrating, but no regular e-mail notification tone. Did this happen to anyone else?

I've had that happen once before, had to uninstall the app and reinstall it. My phone kept getting notifications and it started to get really hot!
