Mine takes maybe 2 hours to charge. The "I'm done!" alert wakes me up when I forget to set it to silent mode.
I'm using the HP Touchpad AC/DC converter and the cable the Touchpad. (The Touchpad is on a Touchstone.) It outputs up to 2A. I've never measured the actual draw. - 10-31-2011, 01:08 PM #3 Re: Why does it tale so L O N G to charge?
Welcome to the world of 1800 mAH batteries. Also, if you're charging with the USB port on a PC, it's going to take even longer. When charging via a wall charger, I don't think it charges that slow, but because the battery performs so well, I only plug it in when I go to bed so I'm never waiting for it.

2hr full charge isn't long....some report up to 3.5 hr.
