after getting a new text messasge, i dunno how but i have this notification saying " you have a new message from whoever"??? but now out of nowhere, doesnt work. does anybody knows please???

This happens when your phone is in driving mode. You can turn driving mode on and off either with the Voice widget or in the Voice Talk app. To configure what you want announced go to Settings - Voice input and output - Text-to-speech settings - Driving mode settings. Here you can turn off and on the different things to be read out loud. Hope that helps!

I had the same issue and Tony is correct. Turn off driving mode.
