audio during video is distorted..

Is there anyway to limit the audio during video recording? During a couple of events I recorded of musical groups, up close, the audio distorts! Other than moving further back, is there a way to adjust or limit the audio input? My sons nexus seems to do the same thing. How about an app? Developers??

Anyone know of a video recording app which can limit audio input levels? For any android device.

Have you the video maker that came with the phone to edit your videos.
I havent tried it so not sure if will do what you want, but it might be worth a look.

I agree.. .I hate that it distorts. .now when I had a palm pre the audio input was put together alot better and that phone is 3 years old.. that's the only thing I hate about this phone
