Help and advice please, coming from E3D

I got the galaxy today, I love it. But what I don't understand is that why is it that my Internet on regular 3g is slower than molasses? I had the evo3d and it was never this slow in my apartment. I have the update 2.3.6 and idk what is wrong. Did I Get a dud or what? Thanks on advance..

mine is slow as well, seems to be the norm as far as I can tell. It really frustrates me to own what I feel is the best phone available and the data speeds are just pathetic! if Im trying to share pics over mms or upload a pic to Twitter I feel like throwing the phone in the trash

My 3g speeds are on par with the original evo's I had. The 3d I had was abysmal and the photon was OK, but this e4gt ate it for lunch. Try calling sprint and have them reprovision your phone and see if that helps your speeds any.
