Default Is there an Epic Touch Samsung brand Extended slim Battery?

I read that the Samsung Galaxy S2 series received an extended battery that made the phone only slightly thicker, about as thick as the slight buldge on the back of the phone, about 1 mm thicker, in exchange for a Samsung branded 2000mah battery. Phone was still slimmer than an Evo 4g. My question is, are we getting the Samsung branded extended battery on our Sprint Epic Touch??? Anyone know if it already exists?

I've been using this with great success:

I hardly ever plug my phone in anymore, just swap batteries.

I also used the 1900 mAH batteries and charger with my EVO 4G for several months and never had a problem.

Thanks, dakilen! I just ordered this. Two of us in my household have an Epic 4G Touch and two have the Epic 4G. I'm betting (hoping) it'll fit the Epic 4G, too.

But I wonder who makes that battery and if it is as good as the in terms of quality. I noticed the Samsung logo is different than ours, and its China made instead of Korea. has anyone tested this battery to be truly 2000mah ? If so I'm sold, 10% is perfect and exactly what I an looking for since I get 18 hours or more, with about 4.5 hours screen time with heavy use. That should bump me up to 5 hours which is perfect.

I've been using mine for a couple months, but have not done any actual specific testing of them. From what I can tell they last as long or slightly longer than the stock 1800 mah battery. But again, I've done no real testing of this.

The label on the battery says "Designed for" Samsung instead of "Made By" Samsung. But again, they are working well for me.

I use the 2 2000 mah batteries and the stock 1800 mah battery in rotation. I can plop in a fresh battery and have a fully charged one in my pocket when I walk out the door, with the third battery on the charger for when I get home.

One thing to note - The wall charger puts out 350mA for charging an extra battery, which means a good 6-7 hours for a full charge. There's also a usb port on the charger for plugging directly into the phone - that puts out 850mA. As a reference, the stock charger that comes with our phones puts out 1A (1000mA).

I am glad there are the slim extended batteries. I dont want to get one of those big ones if only because i have the white s2 and all the doors are black that i can find.

    I just ordered those 2 x 2000mah ones for $35. Not bad.

I'd really love that Samsung 2000 mah battery that adds 1mm to the phone ... Hell I'll even take a few more mm for maybe 2200mah, just can't deal with those quasimodo humps that seidio and mugen add... My eve at least it was uniformly fat, but the back of this doesn't lend itself to large batteries...

Does the 2000mah last significantly longer than the stock battery? I always hear that those slim extended batteries have a weaker capacity.
