Average texts and data per month?

I just checked my data usage and was curious to see how many texts and how much data you guys use on a monthly basis. I somehow already have 4266 texts from 2/25 till now

and the month isn't even half over. I'm not sure if part of this is somehow due to the fact that my brother is on the family plan with me and actually texts too, unlike my parents.

I used to text all the time, but since I graduated college and moved to a completely new area. I barely text at all. Need to get out and meet some new people. I'm looking at around 100 a month to some old college buddies. Data that hasnt changed. I use around 2 GB a month.

I use about 2-2.5 gb of data and nearly the same on wifi. Not sure about texts. I stopped counting once I went unlimited and wouldn't count data if I wasn't wary of Sprint dropping the unlimited plan.

I'm on Sprint and I checked I'm up to 2136 texts and total GBs is close to 2 GBs, mostly using 3g or 4g when out of Wi-Fi range but not worried so far Sprint Unlimited data has spoiled me some what but never go over 4gigs whew close though!

4266 texts? Are you serious? You know your phone does make phone calls, too, right? I love this phone, too, but holy smokes.....

Lol, I know plenty of people who use 4000 every month (mostly girls), but I know what you mean, the most I've used is 2000... The most data I've used is 2.5 gb, im usually even lower than 1 gb, im mostly on wifi..... Even off, idk what to do to use so much data hahaha

I use about 500 to 1000 texts on my phone and anywhere between 2-4 gbs per month.

But this is not including what i use on my work. So double all that too.

I use about 500 texts and about 100 out of my shared 700 minutes on land lines and about 300 minutes mobile to mobile(these are my unlimited minutes). And about 10 gigs of data. Most I've ever capped out on was about 42 gigs. And that was before I got home internet and when I had my galaxy tab.

I have between 10,000 and 20,000 texts a month, and I use about 15 GBs a month data-wise. (I'm a musician and I'm on the road a lot so I text and email and send pictures/videos all the time)

Ya, I was surprised when I saw it too. It's now a few away from 5000. Could some of them possibly be from my brother as we're on a family plan, or are they really all from me?

About 200 texts. Less than 100 minutes and 2.5 gigs data via sprint, 5+ via wifi totalling at least 7gb. 1500 min family plan is way overboard for my wife and I. Combined we only use less than 150 a month, even with nights/ mobile to mobile and all that we use less than 450. I wish they would come out with a cheaper/ lower min entry family plan.

no family plan here. 13 days into my month, 3350 texts and just under 630,000 kb of 3G data and 822,000 kb of 4G data used.

not sure why people are shocked at the high number of texts for some folks here - there are plenty of times where it's more efficient/appropropriate/easier to text than it is to talk.

I agree... between my wife, my kid brother and myself we never break 500 minutes a month. Especially with calls being free to any mobile phone.

A couple hundred texts, between 0-50 anytime minutes, between 100-200 night and weekend minutes, between 300-400 any mobile minutes, and between 6-8gb data on average.

I've been using around 2 gb of data per month since moving to 4G. A couple hundred texts through Verizon and several hundred app-based texts and messages through Viber, Voxer, and WhatsApp. Love these apps!
