This is my first Samsung phone after coming from a long line of HTC phones. The calculator on HTC phones is far superior than that of Samsung phones. A few things the Samsung calculator doesn't have/can't do:
-my HTC phone allowed me to input far more lines of numbers to calculate (example-when I'm trying to reconcile my bank register with lots of credit card transactions). The Samsung calculator has a max and then it stops allowing input.
-with HTC I was able to keep inputting numbers continuously and view all the input numbers without the calculator computing the figures after each entry.
I'm sure I can think of some other issues if I weren't so angry right now, but can anyone recommend any good calculator app, paid or not? Doing a search in the market is too cumbersome to go through all those choices.

Found it in XDA forums after SEVERAL HOURS of researching!!!! It's called HandyCalc and it does everything I wanted and more!

Yeah, that one is nice.

I use a basic rpn calculator (RPN, from ath0) most of the time. For other tasks:

Office Calculator is an ok adding machine like app.

I like Free42 and Andro12C (HP); my kid likes Graph 89 (TI).
