    Default MMS Message picture quality...sucks.

I love my phone, don't get me wrong. I love the amazing pictures I take with the 8 Mega pixel camera on the phone. But trying to send these pictures through picture mail...is terrible. The picture gets very blurry, the quality is terrible. Is there any way to correct this, or must I continue using Facebook messages to send decent quality photos?

The only way I send pictures to people is through email. My understanding is that mms is limited in its nature. Makes sense if you think about it: you can only send 160 characters in a text message, so a 4mb picture would be impossible. Email doesn't compress the image

This may have changed but I remember when the limit on my old E815 was around 250k for MMS.

The messaging app sets the limit. It seems the stock one is around 20-40k. You can get other ones in the market that allow you to set the limit. I just use email though and send the full resolution shot.

Yeah dont ever use MMS to send pics or video. That re-sizes and compressed the media so bad its horrible. Email or try something like box.com or dropbox to upload the files and then share the link.

When you're running the stock rom the mms compression just sucks, but on most custom roms they change it to be better. Still, if you want to send it completely unchanged just use an email.
