    Default Root with Mac - Please Help!

    Hello everyone,

    I have Mac Snow Leopard and would like to root my Spring Samsung Galaxy SII Epic 4 g. Does anyone have a tutorial and/or experience w/rooting from Mac. I have Gingerbread.EL29 on Galaxy.

    You would use the rooted stock TAR file provided by sfhub, and a program called Heimdall to flash it on your Mac.

    File and Information:

    According to sfhub's instructions,

    Mac/Linux - Install 7-zip, then use it to unpack the individual ODIN components in Reference Section B (below). If Heimdall fails flashing all 3 files together, try doing them individually. Skip the remaining instructions that are windows specific (steps 3, 4, 6).
