Still no ota update to my wife's touch. It's the 20th. Anybody else still waiting?

Not that any of us (3 phones) camake calls right now, network near Joliet IL is fubar.

Still haven't gotten my update yet either. No love for the Houston Heights...sigh. Meeting up tomorrow with a friend that got a GSIII last week...and I'll probably still be on Gingerbread.

Everyone waiting out the update to hit OTA is really really...stupid. ITS THE EXACT SAME FREAKING THING. Everyone who doesnt have an sd card for there phone...ARE YOU STUPID? What if you drop your phone in the water? How do you plan on recovering your photos if the usb port becomes damages?

GO TO WALMART AND BUY A 2GB MICRO SD CARD FOR $7.98.

I haven't gotten my OTA either. My wife got hers last weds and I am still waiting. I could do a manual but I am really in not that much of a hurry, I must always be the last to get these things, when my droid Razr got updated it was on the last day of the rollout.

Arizona here, still no update, I know I can manually do it, but slow and steady wins the race. According to a techno buffalo article they are testing jelly bean on the SII. Not holding my breath on that one. I figure ICS will come when it comes no skin off my back.

I read on another thread that the rollout window was changed to the end of July. Im inpatient so I went ahead and did the manual update.

Sprint clearly states on their website for this official release all phones will be updated within the next month not by the 20th or whatever people keep saying and it has said this since day one.

I think the problem stems from the . Although it was right about the rollout starting, it was the source for the 8 day period rumour. I think people believe it because the news about the rollout being imminent was true.

Not sure why you would trust your images to an $8 card Dark Knight. It's a lot easier to have Dropbox back them up automatically on the fly.

As for the OTA, I've waited this long... The one that is pissing me off is my 10.1 Tab. It's WiFi only and they still can't get an update out? WTF?

According to a thread on Sprint community, the update has been suspended as of 7/19 due to issues some customers have when upgrading.

Take from it what you will, but I have not yet received the update either.

I thought where you're located didn't matter when it comes to updates. I still haven't gotten the update yet but I'm fine with it. It's a good news that sprint has suspended the roll out to fix some bugs, I hope they fix some of the issues other users has been facing.

I would much rather wait for a polished update. Gingerbread is still an awesome thing. I'm coming from having the same blackberry for 4+ years to the EP4GT. This thing is still an awesome phone. Patients grasshoppers!
