I have ginger bread on my Samsung galaxy S3 and I downloaded foxfi from the Google website and still won't work on the S3.

Couldn't get the side-loading to work for me. Installed it just fine, but my computer would not connect.

They're working on it...Sprint put the block in when released ICS update.

This is not a Foxfi issue. This is a carrier issue. Carriers do not want us to have free tether even though it costs them no more than if we were using data through our phones. It's just their way of trying to get us to pay to tether. Last I heard Foxfi was working on a workaround but I'm sure they more workarounds they create, the more carriers will just block them.

Sir, if you're using stock, your words are like dung on a farm. Sprint blocked any application required access to the stock hotspot app (which is what FoxFi does) and FoxFi acknowledged that it doesn't work as Sprint blocked that vulnerability.

How did you get Gingerbread on a phone, that comes with Ice Cream Sandwich , unless you downgraded which deserves this.

FoxFi has not worked since ICS came into play, whether you have a SGII or SGIII...it was blocked by Sprint with the ICS update and they've been unable to break. I broke down and spent the money on Tether because I needed it...not wireless but works.
