    Hello and thank you

I keep putting off the message to Install the ICS OTA update, but I think I will take the plunge--a lot of negatives, but a lot of positives.

I tried to install the OTA, but upon reboot, I got a warning triangle with a yellow exclam mark. I was forced to reboot and the phone remained on GB.

So I sit on rooted GB without CWM, and I backed up and deleted a lot of the bloatware. I ultimate want to have ICS rooted, so I assume the manual method is the way to go. It is pointless to get the OTA working right, to then flash it with root, correct?

Prior to doing that, do I need to restore those deleted apps? Or will the manual update wipe everything out clean and install ICS rooted?

    thanks

Go watch qbking77 on YouTube for whatever you want to do. You can get the ff18 stock or rooted build.

i know of qbking's expertise and videos. My question is whether I need to undelete my deleted apps on GB BEFORE flashing the ICS rooted ROM.
