My phone was shutting down when it went to sleep and wouldn't turn on unless I pulled the battery which made my battery drop a huge amount. So I went back to el29 and installed the ota for ff18 and it works great on my phone, I had it manually installed before. Below is what was happening to my battery.

Re: Anyone try the FH13 leak?
I've learned absolutely nothing. If you follow the instructions , then you won't have to really worry about bricking your phone. People ASSUMED Samsung patched that brickbug. I knew they wasn't as they reluctantly claimed fault for the brickbug , and never made a public notice about it .

Re: Anyone try the FH13 leak?
horrible battery life, just like ff18. Everything else runs fine. I saw no difference at all with ff18.

Re: Anyone try the FH13 leak?
I came from FG31. It connects faster to 4G in the Washington DC area. Signal strength looks a little better as well. But this comes from only a couple hours of use. So far I'm pretty pleased.

Re: Anyone try the FH13 leak?
I upgraded to FH13 due to horrific battery life on FH18... i don't see much of an improvement, and I'm getting these shutdowns. Can anyone post me in the right direction of restoring? I carry a portable battery with me for the battery issue, but I cannot deal with a phone repeatedly shutting off on me during the day.

Re: Anyone try the FH13 leak?
Ok, when my screen powers down on FH13, it won't power back on until a battery pull. I hate leaks. Back to FF18 I go!

P.S. - Samsung is doing a "great" job with their updates. It only bricked about 3,000 peoples phones. (sarcastic) - 08-22-2012, 11:00 AM #42

Re: Anyone try the FH13 leak?
Back to EL29. FH13 has the same horrible battery life as FF18, and still shuts off anytime it connects to my cars Bluetooth. Over that last couple of days it averages 8% to 9% battery use per hour while sitting on my desk face down doing nothing. If I turn off WiFi it will still use 7% per hour.

Re: Anyone try the FH13 leak?
I did the full wipe and restore and am still having the same problems. I think it's safe to say this "update"is a bust.
