    Default Android OS data Usage

My epic touch seems to be using alot of data classified as "android OS" Almost 65mb in the last 10 days. I have unlimited data so its not like it matters alot, but it could be causing battery drain. Anyone know whats causing this?

65mb? On a smart phone that's like activation data. All jokes aside, Android does update checks every hour, time clock, system services, etc. That's what's accessing the internet.

In your location settings are any of the 3 boxes checked? Also look into the program autostarts to have unneeded apps not be able to turn on in background such as maps and whatever

Mine is at 2.76GB with 7 Days left in my month. My phone is set to autodownload my podcasts when I plug it into the charger though.
