Capacitive Button issues
Recently, I have been having issues with the capacitive buttons on my device. Shortly after the FH-13 update, it seems that the buttons frequently press themselves, as I receive tactile feedback even when I'm not touching anything. I very rarely drop my phone, and it happens so randomly that I don't know what could be causing it. I'm considering taking it to the Sprint store to see if they can do anything with it, but does anyone have any suggestions? Already tried a factory reset

Re: Capacitive Button issues
I posted on this a few days ago. I'm having this problem and I haven't been able to fix it.

Is the phone warm when it happens on the charger?

Re: Capacitive Button issues
Is it the stock charger? Only happened to be when I was on ek02 gingerbread. Try a different charger and see if it helps. Although it has been fixed for me since then, maybe its still a problem with others.

Re: Capacitive Button issues
Mine does it regardless if its on the charger or not (which is NOT the stock charger). It's so annoying; sometimes just turning the screen off then back on fixes it, other times it lasts for 10+ seconds until I just give up on doing whatever it is I was trying to do.

Re: Capacitive Button issues
I did that and (as usual) the problem didn't happen in the store. Let us know if you get different results.

Re: Capacitive Button issues
Mine does it too, I'm on ICS and before ICS it never did that. Wonder if it's an ICS thing?

Re: Capacitive Button issues
Nope, I had it happen on GB, too, as I stated in the fourth post on this topic.
I just put up more information on the other post: Context menu's activate on their own
We might want to move over there to consolidate the conversation.Last edited by ScottMGS; 10-12-2012 at 02:31 PM. Reason: More info
