I'm running a rooted stock version of GB (version EL29) on my E4GT.

For the past several days, I've been having an issue with my Exchange ActiveSync account and work e-mail. For some reason, I am getting notified of work e-mail messages twice. When a new email arrives in my inbox, I get my usual notification consisting of (1) the stock e-mail icon showing a number of new messages, and (2) the new e-mail message notification in the notification bar. I then go into my e-mail application, read / delete my message, and both notifications then go away. After exiting back to the home screen, within a minute I will get a second notification in the notification bar indicating a new email message. However, the email application icon shows no new emails and going into my email account also shows no new e-mails. This error is happening consistently.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I am having the same exact issue. Pretty annoying.. can't find any way to fix it.

I'm on Stock rooted ICS 4.0.4 Sense 4.1 (unbranded HTC One S)
