[SPH-D710] Build FI27 Source Code Published
New source code has been posted to opensource.samsung.com today for the Epic 4G Touch on Sprint. This is build FI27, and every time source code has been published, it was released as an official software update. So it looks like we'll be seeing another OTA update relatively soon.
Stay tuned for an official announcement from Sprint! - 10-09-2012, 10:20 PM #2

I tried Kies but it said FH13 was the latest. I will try back in a day or so and see if Kies lets me upgrade.

I installed FI27 a few days ago. Stock/rooted. My IMEI and dialer still pop up. Anyone non rooted give it a try yet? How to tell if your Samsung phone is vulnerable to today's USSD hack | Android Central

I'm still waiting for it here in Western Washington as well. Does anyone who has it notice any improvement in the radio? I'm hoping it's better, but expecting more of the same.

Re: [SPH-D710] Build FI27 Source Code Published
I just saw this posted on Sprint's Community Forum:
The Samsung Galaxy S II (Epic 4G Touch) update started Wed 10/10 and ourcustomers will receive the software update to FI27 sometime between Wednesday 10/10/12 and Saturday 11/10/12#. Customers will not be able to initiate a download on your own and will need to wait till the phone receives the Software Update from Samsung.
Performing a manual check through settings before your phone has received the update notification will receive a message similar to the one below.
So, after 11/0/12, everyone "should" get the update....
I would be interested in the affect on the radio as well. - 10-18-2012, 04:55 PM #20

About the same....I did the battery pull after updating each firmware and did a factory reset.....I read that would help with the battery life.....This isn't my original SG2....after the initial ICS update my ph was screwed up....Sprint store order me a new refurbished phone since I had insurance.....
