I'm having a problem when I tether using the WiFi tether app. Version 3.2. When I have a wimax connection after testing using the speedtest.org app I am pulling a little over 3mbps. Problem is when I connect my laptop I can barely get a low quality video to play. Or streaming music buffers and has problems. I'm not getting the same connections when tethering. How do I maximize my tether speed?

I usually close all other apps besides the tether app so that the CPU can focus but it doesn't help much.
