Hi all,

I was a big fan of Newsroom that has been discontinued. Now I am desperate to find a good offline rss reader.

The ones I have tried say they work offline but when I get on the subway they seem to ask for a network connection. Newsroom worked perfectly offline and was simple to setup. I have tried Just reader, Jreader and several others.

They just don't work.

Has anyone found a good offline rss reader or maybe I'm not programming these others correctly?

I used to love Newsroom myself (palm pre & android) but now I've been using Feedr for over a year. It works well.
