So I bought the trexcell extended battery for my Sprint Samsung Galaxy s2 from Amazon and recieved it yesterday. All of the reviews on Amazon and the instructions on the battery say to read the included guide and follow the directions on how to condition my new battery. Only problem is the guide was not in there. Can anyone please tell me how to properly condition my battery?

Basically you need to full-cycle the battery. So put it in the phone and charge completely, maybe even a little longer than completely. Then completely drain the battery to the point the phone shuts itself off. You should do that 5 or 6x I think.

There is some contention with lithium ion batteries needing to fully discharge. Some say it hurts more than helps... everything I've read says too not worry about full discharge, and don't drop it below 20 percent whenever possible..
