FI27 or FK23

Im new to andriod and have a qusetion I havr FK23 on my s2 but I sre FI27 what is the difference between the two

FI27 is the last official released version. Version numbers are coded:

First character is year
F = 2012, G = 2013

Second is month
I = Sep, K = Nov

Digits are day of month

Expect to see new versions soon with the number GAnn

Nope. FL27 doesn't exist as far as I know.

FL27 (JB) is not released but was on the edge of a leak....it has been slow in becoming a reality......the latest JB leak is FL16 which runs great!

Sorry if this is a little off topic but can someone point me in the right direction on how to install a custom recovery on the e4gt my gf is tired of the bugs in fk23 and wants to try a custom rom

Xda developers has everything you need to root, add CWM, and flash a custom ROM
