I couldn't find a section for the Virgin Mobile phone so I figured it would be best to post here. Has anybody found a noroot way to tether with this phone on Virgin? I have tried FoxFi and it does not seem to work for the wifi tether. If there is no non-root way to do so, is there a way to do it with a root? I would prefer not rooting but if I have to I will.

Try app SVTP WiFi.
FoxFi have some settings, try modifying it. Also, now FoxFi have limited time used, then need to buy a license.

Foxfi via wifi is flaky for me at best. However, Foxfi via blue tooth works very well for me. Try it configured through Bluetooth.

Neither of these solutions work for me. (Sorry it took so long, didnt have notifications set up) SVTP says cannot acces data connection and FoxFi just pushes out a network with no Internet behind it. I own the full version because I do use it with the wired connection which works great. I'm looking for a wifi solution.
