    Default Texting apps/battery life

    Do texting apps drain your battery more then regular texting? Or is it the same? Please help

    Texting apps as in what? Handcent? Go SMS? Explain...

    Overall I don't believe it will really have much of an effect. There are way worst battery killers out there than our texting styles/habits.

    I wouldn't say the apps (sms apps) drain your battery usage -- texting with high frequency and keeping the screen on for extensive periods of time to text would be the culprit.
