Strange error message

I keep getting this error pop-up and have no idea what is causing it. Right before it appears my phone will freeze up. The error reads: Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped. Anyone else getting this? Anyone know what app/process is causing it?

At at a guess, it's something to do with Google Apps.

I've been getting that a lot since i updated to GB. Sometime the phone will also freeze. I cleared my cache partition thinking it would help but it didn't. Apps seem to cause it, but I don't know why and it doesn't seem to be a particular app or apps that cause it.

Factory reset is the only way to fix it I think

Go into recovery and fix permissions. That should fix it.
