Email account not syncing right after upgrade

I just upgraded my Galaxy S2's android software to the JellyBean 4.1.2. Everything went fine, except for my email account. I can no longer find the setting for me to delete emails from my phone only, NOT the server. Emails have decided to appear on my phone that are not on my computer. Been on the phone with Samsung and Sprint for 4 hours today. I'm done resetting my phone for the nth time, done reconfiguring my email account, done deleting my account and reading it, etc. I have done this too many times today. There has to be a way to delete emails from my phone, but not the server so it's still on my computer. It was done before my upgrade, so I'm sure it can be done now. HELP!
