Give it a try

Was running AGAT 0.3.3, flashed this on after I did a nandroid backup

Seems to work much better than AGAT - very smooth - can't tell battery life yet

Running Stock rooted TW 4.1.1 with MA6 Modem/Radio flashed and Deviant Kernel 0.6

My phone did not like KToonsez for some reason, but worked well with the AGAT kernel and now the DeviantKernel

Not bad. Notice a little difference in battery life. Only thing I'm having issues with is screen rotation. It goes upside down when in landscape mode. I'm running superior rom v6

A question: If I flash a custom kernel, and decide I want to go back to the stock one, how do I do that? I'm using TWRP, and it doesn't appear to back up the Kernel.

TWRP should back up the kernel with a full backup. Just make sure the 'boot' partition/option is checked when doing the backup.
