Okay so I can get to my computer now. Do it the same way I installed v8.1? Except this time do a wipe and factory reset?
Then restore my back up from after I rooted my phone originally?
Then restore everything from titanium? And I should be back to where I started in terms of everything in my phone?
Sorry for flooding the thread the past week also Lol. Xda has to much going on. at first I couldn't make an account over sprints internet. Now I can't post anything in the development forums because I'm not experienced enough. I've been stalking it every day though. Unfortunately no one over there is time enough to ask the basic questions like me. So I'm here. Thanks for your patience. - 08-06-2012, 07:59 PM

If you want to restore a backup you don't need to wipe anything. Go to backup and restore. Click on restore, choose the backup you want to restore and go for it. Don't wipe a thing.

Re: [SGSIII][Sprint] Android Central Rom and Kernel Library
So theres no need to wipe anything from 8.0 to 8.1? I have a couple ui tweaks and a theme installed (although I would like to remove the theme so I can download jelly bomb when it gets here)

Clark is really on the move v9 should be out soon. Same question... what kind of wipe do I need to flash it?
And this aroma installer everyone keeps talking about.. only for people with cwm right? I'm using twrp. They keep discussing themes in the aroma installer. Are these the same as the themes that will be in the update me app? - 08-08-2012, 09:16 AM

The theme in aroma installer are just that aroma themes. It just changes the background color of the installer it does nothing to the Rom.
Twrp is exactly what you want as it supports open recovery and cwm doesn't.
I would just wipe cache, dalvik and system. If you have any issues you can go back and wipe/factory reset. Again never format data with twrp as it will format your entire internal sdcard and you will lose everything there.Last edited by Skunkape60; 08-12-2012 at 06:43 PM.

Re: [SGSIII][Sprint] Android Central Rom and Kernel Library
Lol this thread has basically become "Rom and kernel library/FreeGS3 support and updates"
I'm not complaining though, it's a great ROM

Twrp stands for team win recovery project. It is nothing more than a custom recovery much like cwm. They both flash Roms, make backups, restores and wipes.
They pretty much do the same thing but each has something the other doesn't. Try them both and see which one works best for you.Last edited by Skunkape60; 08-08-2012 at 10:27 PM.

A new Rom being released today but you won't have to go to xda to get it. I will be hosting the thread right here at Android Central. It does not have all the bells and whistles that the Team Sonic Rom has. But it is a very stable themed Rom.
So if what you want, is a themed Rom that just plain works without any trouble, you should give "Wicked Sensations" a try. The thread should be posted later today in the "Sprint Galaxy S3 Rooting, ROMs and Hacks" forum.Last edited by Skunkape60; 08-12-2012 at 12:01 PM.
