I am running Team Sonics Revolutionary V.0.8 and in the flashing process it asks which modem I want to use. I was wondering, what exactly do the modems control?? Signal?? Battery life??

Which one is the best or are people using if you are running this rom???

Could be wrong but I think it just has to do with the firmware Sprint has come out with which the latest one would be lg8.I believe it also affects signal and security. Some people think certain ones have higher battery life and what not. I'm running LG8.

Modems are basically what connects your phone to the sprint signals. How good each modem is varies from person to person. The best modem will be the one that gets the best reception = best battery life. I would say try out each one for a day or so and pick the one you had the best results with. Good luck
