Yes it's that easy to switch from cwm to twrp. Flash the zip in cwm no wiping required...

Before our after... Doesn't really matter...

I have never been as impressed with a rom as this one it's motivating enough to make me want to port it to ATT SGS3 i747 been working on it and have it working all of it including the upside down video banners in camera and youtube. But now I have stock odexed rom and want to know if I can just theme your stuff over the top of the official 4.1.1 release. Do you have themes for sale out on play?


Let me know if thats possible or maybe I can flash cuban on i747 and pull it in and then script your boot animation in.

The data is working on my port of this rom but can't get faster data than UMTS:3 no HSPA+

I will put in work on this rom if you could use help.

24 years experience in iT but learning the theaming part which comes with trying to manually deodex and zipalign.

Thanks for building this it's majestic.

What happens if I flash this rom before the Anakonda theme is available? Doe sit automatically update the theme to the Updater or will I need to reflash.....

The theme will show up in the updater and you will flash the theme. The rom won't need to be reflashed.

You get into twrp the same way you would cwm. It is just a different custom recovery. They can do pretty much the same things just a different UI.

One thing to note though. Backups made with cwm can't be flashed in twrp and backups made in twrp can't be flashed in cwm.

So after flashing TWRP the next time I hold down Volume Up, Power, And Home it will go to TWRP instead of cwm or will it give me an option to pick?

Yes, it will go to recovery and twrp is your new recovery.

Once you flash this rom, you won't have to do the 3 finger salute anymore. It has an expanded shut down menu. You will just choose restart and then choose recovery and it will boot into recovery.

the updater fix is out and I haven't posted it yet... Once you apply the fix it will not only download your mod. It will reboot into recovery, flash it and enjoy your phone for you. One stipulation though... Your recovery must be twrp. It does NOT WORK with cwm. I will add this to the OP as soon as my computer is back online... :banghead:

How do I get back to cwm if I ever need to go back to some of my old back ups??

I wiped the Cache and Dalvik first

Then I Flashed Wicked

Then I flashed the updater

It worked and everythign seems to be working but what is really weird is all my old text messages, emails, apps, contact are already there????

WHen I did it with my fiances phone we had to sign back into google and redownload her apps or use TitBackup??

Did I do something wrong???

Also I do not think debloat worked...i have a lot of apps left that my fiance with the same Rom does not...such as google magazines/ google books/ Chat On/ Camcorder / AllShare Dongle etc...

You didn't factory reset. That's why you still have all your stuff...

Is a factory reset required? Will it mess things up if I don't do it.

Will debloat still work or will it keep everything???

If you're already on wicked sensations and are just flashing twrp and the fix, follow these directions.

1. Download to your phone the updater fix and twrp.
2. Boot into recovery.
3. Install zip from sdcard.
4. Flash twrp.
Phone will most likely reboot into twrp if it does.
5. Wipe cache and dalvik
6. Flash updater fix.

Really quite simple.
